Favorite songs

just wondering, what kind of songs u guys like. talk about your favorite genre, favorite bands/artists, and favorite songs.

personally, i like everything, but im most into metal. specifically symphonic. my favorite artist is tarja turunen and my favorite bands are Nightwish (before Anette), The Cruxshadows, Inkubus Skkubus, and Within Temptation. I like so many songs that it is hard to pic my fave! here is a list of some of the songs i like (random order):

I grew up on counrty music (Garth Brookes, Brooks n Dunn, Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, etc.) but everyone around here that I know seems not to like it :/ they're all like "haha that's wierd!" and I'm all like "Whatever guys, I grew up with this stuff" :D I love Garth Brooks, totally forgot to put him up I like:
2 Pina Colada, Friends in Low Place.......... I haven't listened in a while and forget some songs

Oh I'm also a huge fan of Wizard Rock which for those that don't know is music based on the Harry Potter series (haha, total nerd right here )

awsome! another fan of the cruxshadows! i didnt think anyone even knew about them!
and btw there is a cover of enjoy the silence by lacuna coil that i prefer over the original, but thats just my opinion!

country is awesome! what kind of bands do wizard rock??? it sounds cool even though i dont like harry potter

Wizard rock bands are made up of Harry Potter fans, not always super great music but it's the Harry Potter referance that we love tho there is alot of good music. They do different genres. Some bands I remember off the top of my head are Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys, The Butterbeer Experience, The Whomping Willows, How Planes Fly, and Dobby and the Houselves. If you look up any of them on myspace you'll be able to find more bands through their friends list. I'm gonna go listen to some now .
